Integrated Production is a farming system for producing food and other high-quality agricultural products. It is based on the rational use of natural resources and gives priority to natural regulation mechanisms over external inputs, contributing to more sustainable agriculture.
To ensure a rigorous and harmonised system of procedures, this production system is subject to a control regime carried out by Certification Bodies (CBs) recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture and accredited by the competent accreditation authority — the Portuguese Accreditation Institute — in accordance with NP EN 17065:2014.
