





Agricert is a control and certification body operating in the agricultural, livestock, forestry and food sectors, including organic production. Established in 2000, it works in two main areas: product control and certification, and certified training.
Product control and certification in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065. Agricert is a body delegated by the competent national authority — the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MAFDR) — to act as a Certification Body for Organic Production, Integrated Production, GI schemes (PDO and PGI), and TSG. For this purpose, it is accredited by the Portuguese Accreditation Institute under process no. C0022. IPAC is the public body responsible for accreditation activities in Portugal.
Training activities duly certified by the Directorate-General for Employment and Labour Relations (DGERT) since July 2008.
