Non-Organic Plant Reproductive Material – List of authorised species for 2026

DGADR has published the 2026 list of species authorised for the use of non-organic plant reproductive material, whenever organic plant reproductive material is not available on the market, under point 1.8.5.7 of Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2018/848.

The authorisation covers vegetable and agricultural species, fruit trees, vine planting material (Vitis spp.), and mixtures (forage and non-forage).

Operators making use of this general authorisation are required to:

• Notify DGADR and the Control Body
• Keep records by species and variety, including the quantities used
• Submit the information electronically, using the file made available by DGADR, to the following address: dqrg@dgadr.pt

Agricert recommends that this information be incorporated into 2026 sowing plans from the outset, ensuring documentary evidence and traceability of the material used, in line with Organic Production requirements.
